Michael Arbuthnot has worked as a professional archaeologist for more than 30 years digging into the world's most fascinating sites on land and underwater. He conducted the first systematic archaeological survey of R.M.S. Titanic's interior with film director James Cameron for 'Last Mysteries of the Titanic' (Discovery Channel) and appeared on Tony Robinson's 'Titanic Adventure' (Channel 4).

Following Titanic, he hosted 'Secret Worlds' (Travel Channel), 'FOUND' (History Channel), and 'America's Lost Vikings' (Discovery Science). Arbuthnot conducted the first aerial LiDAR survey of L'Anse aux Meadows, the Viking period site on Newfoundland, and has surveyed and excavated five battlefields: Little Bighorn, Bowlegs Town, and Loxahatchee as well as Camp Milton and Natural Bridge.

He was on the team that relocated the USS Nevada and the slave ship, Clotilda. Arbuthnot's personal research interests include pre-Columbian cultural contact and the Peopling of the New World debate.
